I used Linie Akvavit which had a pretty pronounced caraway taste, but I think it played along well with the other ingredients. It turned out a little frothy just like yours- I guess that's from the cordial. Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipe. I am sure to try more of the ones you have posted.Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12917296588541533146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4686457911475428394.post-63864094978996699892014-05-21T19:04:38.183+02:002014-05-21T19:04:38.183+02:00It's actually a pretty good sized cocktail, so...It's actually a pretty good sized cocktail, so you could start by mixing one to see how you like it. I agree that the straws is a bit costly, however this it does add a little extra something to the drink. Especially if you are sharing with someone you want to impress ;)Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00312255571782434890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4686457911475428394.post-34874461811291006392014-05-19T22:40:06.715+02:002014-05-19T22:40:06.715+02:00Thanks very much Andrea. I will try to have a go at the straws too- even if they will be quite costly,
Will get back with comments later.
PaulPaulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12917296588541533146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4686457911475428394.post-91119268785678239282014-05-16T16:37:06.641+02:002014-05-16T16:37:06.641+02:00Paul, I am so sorry you comment has been sitting u...Paul, I am so sorry you comment has been sitting unpublished for so long. (I tried drinking through an ordinary straw for comparison). It's well worth the trouble for a drink lending itself to vanilla notes.
